Training Arena
A 3D three-cushion table driven by real physics. Set the cue, speed, spin, ball thickness, cue elevation and stroke length yourself; points are detected automatically. Suggest a system finds a system for the position and shows its route and numbers as a silhouette before you shoot.
Aim: tap or drag a point on the table. Fine aim: ← → (Shift for 1°), speed: ↑ ↓, shoot: space.
Sliding and rolling friction, spin decay, cushion rebound and friction, throw between balls, follow and draw, massé and curves are all computed. On a half-ball hit the cue ball deflects about 34°, just like on a real table.
The standard table follows the system numbers. On the steep table cushion exits are 5–8 points steeper, on the slippery table 5–8 points wider and the balls slide longer; learn how to correct for your own table here.
The arena computes thousands of shots, ranks the scoring ones by their margin for error and shows the best system on the table with its Start · Aim · Arrival numbers.
