✎ Editor's note: The 1/4 table is shown as the top quarter of the table (between the top short cushion and the line through the 2nd diamond of the long cushions).

Spin 2 → Table value 10. Start 20, Arrival 10. Aim = 10 + 20 − 10 = 20.

A billiard table is made of two equal squares side by side. If you draw an imaginary line from the 2nd diamond of the long cushion parallel to the short cushion, you get a small table exactly one quarter the size of the full table. All the mathematics of the Tüzül method also holds on this 1/4 table: the numbering of the small table follows the same logic as the short-cushion-start Tüzül method, and the same Table value is used. Because the balls stay relatively large inside the 1/4 table, it becomes easier to make the point.

When? When the cue ball is in the top quarter of the table: it starts from the left long cushion, aims at the right long cushion, comes back off the top short cushion and arrives at the left long cushion (3rd cushion).

Watch outThe table values are hypothetical; use the value you measured with your own stroke on your own table.

Watch outThe paths in the diagrams are ideal trajectories through the system points; on the real path, spin shifts the cushion contacts slightly.
