The cue ball aims from in front of one short cushion at the opposite short cushion; going around the table on a symmetric path it reaches the long cushion, the start short cushion and, on the 4th cushion, either the aim short cushion or the long cushion, and on the 5th cushion again the aim short cushion. In every case the aim is Start − Arrival. It is played without spin, with a level cue and a semi-long (semi penetrado) stroke.
