Start 30, arrival 50. Aim = 50 − 30 = 20. The line runs from 30 through the cue ball to 20 on the top short cushion; after the short, long and long cushions, the cue ball arrives at 50.

Plus is a complex system: there are several different cases depending on where you start from and where you want to arrive. The cue ball starts from the left long cushion (or the bottom short cushion), aims first at the top short cushion, then comes to the right long cushion and from there to the left long cushion (3rd cushion).

When? In positions where the cue ball goes first to the short cushion and then to the two long cushions (short–long–long); ball 2 is taken either directly (ball first) or after the cushions. Some of the examples are shots that hit ball 2 first (pase bola), others go to the cushions first.

Watch outAll systems that aim at the short cushion first are sensitive to speed and spin. Every player must adjust speed and spin to their own stroke.

Editor's note · Aim numberingEditor's note: The small intermediate label nearest the left corner is shown as 125, but it may be 120. The value of the mark at the outer top-right corner (outside the corner diamond) is uncertain, so it was not added to the scale.
