Aim = 60 − 40 = 20. 20 is the point ⅔ of a diamond to the right of the middle diamond.

Plus rodadas played without spin are very useful not only for three-cushion positions but also for positions where ball 3 lies near the 4th cushion. The cue ball goes first to the top short cushion, then to the right long cushion, then to the bottom short cushion (3rd cushion, arrival) and from there heads for the 4th cushion. The system works in two zones: Zone 1 for starts from the long cushion, Zone 2 for starts from the short cushion.

When? When ball 3 is near the 4th cushion or on the path between the 3rd and 4th cushions, and the cue ball has to travel short–long–short and pick up the balls at the 3rd or 4th cushion.
